Titan Technologies LLC had a receivables and communications problem. A few years ago, one of the company’s biggest issues involved updating back-office systems as clients constantly added new seats and services. “While our recurring revenue contracts were growing, we had trouble keeping our accounting and billing software updated,” says Paul Nebb, CEO of Titan Technologies. “Our bank provided us with a free payment service, but it didn’t allow us to sync data or bill for one-time charges, like audits and implementation projects.” The inability to move that information into QuickBooks was another issue, requiring his team to replicate data entry in multiple systems – a labor-intensive, costly and more-error-prone process.
